Garlic Shrimp

Try this awesome shrimp recipe with fresh shrimp from ARCTIC CHOICE SEAFOOD over some delicious fresh pasta from La Grassa and a side dish of grilled zucchini. The extra butter and garlic left in the pan makes an excellent pasta sauce, too!

1 pound shrimp* 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil 6 cloves garlic, minced fine 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes 2 tbsp cold butter, cut in 4 pieces 3 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp caper brine 1/3 cup chopped Italian parsley* water as needed to thin sauce salt to taste

Coat the bottom of a heavy skillet with olive oil and heat on very high heat until it just starts to smoke. Add the shrimp, allow to cook (without stirring) for 30 seconds, sprinkle with salt, then stir and toss for a minute until shrimp is lightly cooked. Add garlic, toss and stir for another minute. Add lemon, caper brine, 1 piece of butter, and half of the parsley. Stir until butter is melted. Turn heat to low, add the remaining butter, and cook until the butter is melted.
